Tank delivered

Luray panoramic

June 21, 1962 — People on the highways thought it was part of a missile or an airplane but it was just part of the big 100,000 gallon tank the Town of Luray recently purchased from the Norfolk and Western Railroad. The first section arrived here Tuesday afternoon and was unloaded and stored on the town lot in west Luray where the west end water tower is located. There will be five more sections to arrive in the next few days.
