July 15, 1965 — Three youths were jailed and placed under $1,000 bond each Sunday afternoon after being charged with destroying property near Luray.
The three are being held on four separate charges in the Page County Jail.
The youths are being held for allegedly throwing rocks through windows of at least two Leaksville homes and a parked pickup truck.
Page County Sheriff Clark Long, who investigated the incident, said that the rock- throwing spree occurred sometime before 5 a.m. Saturday.
The youths, all of Pennsylvania, were reported to be visiting relatives near Luray.
