Bigamy, catalytic converter, embezzlement and grand theft auto among May indictments

LURAY, May 1 — Members of a grand jury in Page County Circuit Court issued a true bill on a total of 21 indictments handed down Wednesday, May 1 on charges placed among 16 individuals.

Those indicted by the May 1 grand jury include:

• Sheena Marie Conley, of Blissfield, Ohio, received a direct indictment on a Class 4 felony for bigamy. The offense occurred on Aug. 31, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on May 8, 2024. Conley is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 for a capias hearing, and is additionally scheduled for an additional hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

Mark Anthony McCombs Sr., of Blissfield, Ohio, was indicted on a Class 4 felony for bigamy. The offense occurred on Aug. 31, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on Dec. 6, 2023. McCombs is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 for a hearing.

Donald Ray Fox III, of New Market, Va., was indicted on an unclassified felony for grand larceny/theft of a vehicle. The offense occurred on Nov. 13, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on Nov. 14, 2023. Fox is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 for a hearing.

Kyle Elliot Kidd, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on an unclassified felony for embezzlement of more than $1,000. The offense occurred on Nov. 10, 2023, according to court records. No arrest date was listed. Kidd is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024 for a hearing.

William Anthony Brown Jr., of (address not listed), was indicted on a Class 6 felony for damaging a catalytic converter. The offense occurred on Aug. 5, 2022, according to court records. No arrest date was listed. Brown is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 for a bond hearing.

Travis William Turner, of Elkton, Va., was indicted on an unclassified felony for entering a house to commit assault and battery. The offense occurred on Aug. 3, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on Sept. 5, 2023. Turner is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 for a hearing.

Sara Kae Wyllis, of Luray, Va., was indicted on an unclassified felony for possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for destruction of property with intent valued at less than $1,000. The offenses occurred on May 28, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on May 29, 2023. Wyllis is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 to appoint counsel.

• David Anders, of Harrisonburg, Va., was indicted on two unclassified felonies for possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 6 felony for the nonviolent felony possession of a gun (more than 10 years after felony conviction). All three offenses and an arrest occurred on Oct. 31, 2023, according to court records. Anders is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 for a hearing.

• Tenika Desire Clark, of Luray, Va., received a direct indictment on a Class 6 felony for the destruction of property with intent valued at more than $1,000, and a second direct indictment on a Class 1 misdemeanor for reckless driving endangering life, limb and property. The offenses occurred on Feb. 21, 2024, according to court records, with an arrest on May 3, 2024. Clark is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 to appoint counsel.

• Mark Wade Richards, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 6 felony for eluding or disregarding police and a Class 1 misdemeanor for driving a motor vehicle after forfeiture of his operator’s license. The offenses and an arrest occurred on Sept. 11, 2023, according to court records. Richards is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 for a four-hour jury trial.

• Dustin Wayne Saylor, of Luray, Va., was indicted on an unclassified felony for possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Dec. 18, 2023, according to court records. Saylor is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024 for a hearing.

• Harris Warren Carroll, of White Post, Va., was indicted on a Class 6 felony for the felony possession of a weapon/ammunition (not a gun). The offense and an arrest occurred on Jan. 12, 2024, according to court records. Carroll is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2023 for a hearing.

• Michael Lee Buracker Jr.., of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Dec. 23, 2023, according to court records. Buracker is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024 for a hearing.

• Kevin Lee McAlister Jr., of Elkton, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Feb. 20, 2024, according to court records, with an arrest on Feb. 21, 2024. McAlister is scheduled to appear in court again at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 for a hearing.

• Leah Nicole Rache Scarborough, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Dec. 18, 2023, according to court records. Scarborough is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 for a hearing.

• Jimmy Lee Shifflett, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Jan. 27, 2024, according to court records. Shifflett is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024 for a hearing.

Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
