School transportation made more convenient and reliable
~ Press release provided by Page County Public Schools
LURAY, Aug. 9 — Page County Public Schools will launch the 2026-2027 school year with an exciting new transportation program, BusRight, that is intended to help keep families connected in a reliable and convenient way.
BusRight will be launched by the PCPS Transportation Department as an innovative transportation platform that allows parents and guardians to stay informed and connected about their child’s school bus in real time.
“Our goal is to improve communication, increase efficiency, and provide families with peace of mind,” the PCPS press release states.
BusRight is an app that parents may download to see real-time tracking and know where a bus is throughout its route with LIVE GPS tracking. Parents may also receive arrival notifications when the bus is approaching a stop, which will reduce the amount of time a child has to wait outside. The service will also provide instant communication with transportation updates, delays, route changes, and other announcements.
“Safety is a priority for our division, and BusRight will help us to provide greater accountability and safe transport of our students by giving our transportation department access to tools needed to effectively manage routes, respond to issues, and communicate effectively with our families,” PCPS stated in the release.
The Page County Transportation Department is currently installing the equipment on all buses, cars, and vans in the division to prepare for the launch. Once the system is ready, families will receive information on how to download the BusRight Parent App. Stay tuned for further updates.
“We are excited to bring this new technology to our community for a safer, smarter, and more informed experience for our PCPS students and families,” the PCPS press release states.
