• Why are you running for public office?
• What makes you the best candidate?
• What is the most pressing issue facing the Town of Shenandoah?
• What is one thing that you would like to change or improve?
• Briefly describe a decision you have made in a leadership role and tell why you made that decision.
PUBLISHER’S NOTE: Mr. Reisinger did not provide specific answers to the questions we posed, but rather sent a single statement, which we provide below:
“Having lived and owned a home here in the Town of Shenandoah since 2009, I decided it was time to bring about the change many citizens are looking for in our community. I have witnessed the deterioration of the infrastructure of our town and can not stand by any longer wondering why?
Sidewalks in decay making it dangerous for our elderly citizens, along with the unregistered vehicles parked around town on public property. The time has come to face these and many other issues that seem to go unrecognized by our current leadership.
Leadership of the Town of Shenandoah must take pride in the town they serve and make the changes our citizens are demanding. Get out and talk to them, take a walk every evening. The citizens will vote and decide if my time is now in this great Town of Shenandoah.”
Early voting started Sept. 22
