LYNCHBURG, March 2 — This week we send out belated accolades to Luray High School sophomore Davey Johnson who recently made history by capturing second place and earning All-State status after finishing as the state runner-up in the boys 1000 meters and posting a new LHS record time of 2:37.5.
Luray High School’s indoor track team saw six Bulldogs earn All-State honors at the VHSL Class 2 State Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 1-2 at the Liberty University Track Complex. In addition, three new school records were set.
Johnson continues to add to a lost list of running accolades that began accumulating during his freshman season. (See articles listed below.)
