LURAY, MAY 21 — Luray High School’s Athletic Department held its 2023 Spring Sports Awards event in May as district playoffs were getting underway. A total of 19 Bulldog athletes were recognized at the awards ceremony in five different sports.

Girls Track

• MVP — Jaidyn McClung
• Most Dedicated — Bianca Good
• Most Improved — Angel Shifflett
• Gold “L” — Lauren Sours

Boys Track

• MVP — Davey Johnson
• Most Dedicated — Jacob Bowman
• Most Improved — Jaydon Bailey
• Gold “L” — Robin Hernandez


• MVP — Landon Vile
• Most Dedicated — Trever Griffith
• Most Improved — Christian Lentz
• Gold “L” — Trever Griffith

Girls Soccer

• MVP — Summer Forder
• Most Dedicated — Savannah Owens
• Most Improved — Brigid Dudley
• Gold “L” — Bailey Ancell and Trinity Hasse

Boys Soccer

• MVP — Connor Cubbage
