Ruger

from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.

This is Ruger!

Meet sweet boy Ruger aged at two years old. The previous owner kept him outside 24/7 by himself. He is such a sweet boy and looking for a new home that will treat him right and love him endlessly.

With Ruger previously being solely outdoors, he lacks some manners and has a lot of built up energy. He ideally needs a home that he can run around outdoors freely with a fenced in yard to help burn out his energy. Despite his high energy drive, he is intact, so once he gets neutered he should mellow out more over time.

Ruger loves to play with humans and other dogs and loves to be crazy outdoors until he crashes. He could benefit from someone who has the patience to help him learn some calming manners and getting better on potty training.

Overall, he is a wonderful dog and if he sounds like your next potential family friend, please contact us to get more information on Ruger.

If you’d like to get to know Ruger in person,

please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
