STANLEY, March 14 — A Bull Breeding Soundness Exam is one of the most important, yet often neglected, reproductive management practices in cow-calf operations. Failure to properly evaluate the breeding ability of bulls can result in significant economic losses.

Virginia Cooperative Extension will be hosting Dr. Nathaniel Burke, M.S., DVM from Rose Hill Veterinary Practice to perform the exams. The clinic will be held on Wednesday, April 10 at 305 River Dale Farm Road, Stanley, VA.

Cost of exam is $50 per bull.

Pre-registration is required by April 5. A limited number of appointments are available.
