Becca

Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets

from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.

This is Becca!

Becca is an approximately 1.5-year-old, orange tabby female. Unfortunately, her story is a bit tragic. Sadly, Becca was abandoned by her family outside the shelter on the day after Christmas. She was left with nothing more than a cardboard box and a small bowl of food in single digit temperatures and a negative wind chill. She wasn’t discovered until she popped her head up from the bed of our truck, undoubtedly searching for food. She confidently approached a staff member while they ate their lunch in their vehicle. Becca hopped right on up into the car, made herself at home, and even stole a french fry or two.

Becca had a rough couple of days when she was first brought in. She was uncomfortable in her new surroundings and was quite vocal about it. Unfortunately, in the process, she ended up upsetting our other guests as well. After a quick and easy kennel swap, she has settled in nicely and has shown just how cuddly she can be! No more fussing from Becca!

Becca now resides confidently and warmly in her kennel, waiting for her new loving family!
