LURAY, Feb. 8 — A Page County grand jury handed down 23 indictments among 17 individuals during its Feb. 2 session in Page County Circuit Court. Two additional direct indictments were sealed, which typically indicates they are part of an ongoing investigation.
The 17 individuals indicted during last Wednesday’s grand jury session include:
• Mollee Messick McWhorter, of Luray, Va., was indicted on two Class 6 felonies for assault on a law enforcement officer and eluding or disregard for police. The offenses occurred on Aug. 8, 2020, according to online court records, while the arrest date for both is listed as Aug. 9, 2020. McWhorter is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23 for further proceedings.
• Miranda Gayle Crowley, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 6 felony for unlawful wounding. The offense and arrest occurred on May 19, 2021, according to online court records. Crowley is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23 for further proceedings.
• Edward W. Dinges Jr., of Luray, Va., was indicted on two felonies and two misdemeanors related to drug and firearm charges. Dinges was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug and a Class 6 felony for possession of a firearm while in the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. He was also indicted on two Class 1 misdemeanors for reckless handling of a firearm and destruction of property valued at less than $1,000. All offenses and his arrest occurred on June 16, 2021, according to online court records. Dinges is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 for further proceedings.
• Nicholas Mason Chacon, of Culpeper, Va., was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and his arrest occurred on Sept. 15, 2021, according to online court records. Chacon is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23 for further proceedings.
• Russell Sylvester Good, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug and a Class 1 misdemeanor for failure to appear in court. The drug offense occurred on June 23, 2021, according to online court records. A capias warrant was issued for the defendant’s arrest on Wednesday, Feb. 2 following the grand jury session. Good was taken into custody on Saturday, Feb. 5, according to online court records. Good is next scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 for a capias hearing.
• Jasmine Nicole Cambell, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and her arrest occurred on Aug. 27, 2021, according to online court records. Campbell is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 for further proceedings.
• Gary Page Foltz, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and his arrest occurred on Sept. 2, 2021, according to online court records. Foltz is scheduled to appear in court again at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 for pre-trial motions.
• Sherman Lee Good, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Aug. 1, 2021, according to online court records, with an arrest date of Sept. 11, 2021. Good is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23 for further proceedings.
• Christian Tyler McAllister, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on May 26, 2021, according to online court records. McAllister is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23 for a status hearing.
• Lisa Danielle Moneymaker Rutt, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 24, 2021, according to online court records. Rutt is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 for further proceedings.
• Ilea Serina Monique Lawson, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on July 10, 2021, according to online court records. Lawson is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 for further proceedings.
• Robert Wayne Long, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Nov. 1, 2021, according to online court records. Long is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 for further proceedings.
• Richard Allan Louderback II, of Rileyville, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Sept. 7, 2021, according to online court records, with an arrest date of Oct. 18, 2021. Louderback is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23 for further proceedings.
• Patrick Bishop Munson, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on July 11, 2021, according to online court records. Munson is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9 for further proceedings.
• Anthony G. Payton Jr., of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Aug. 9, 2021, according to online court records, with an arrest date of Nov. 7, 2021. Payton is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 for further proceedings.
• Regina Nicole Reade, of Catlett, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Jan. 31, 2020, according to online court records, with an arrest date of Sept. 24, 2020. Reade is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 for further proceedings.
• Tiffany Louise Via, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on May 14, 2021, according to online court records, with an arrest date of Sept. 11, 2021. Via is scheduled to appear in court again at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 for further proceedings.
Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
