Grand jury issues 24 indictments against 13 individuals in October session

LURAY, Oct. 7 — A Page County grand jury handed down 24 indictments among 13 individuals during Wednesday’s Oct. 6 session in Page County Circuit Court. In addition to those charges, one case against an individual facing two charges was continued.

The 13 individuals publicly indicted during Wednesday’s grand jury session include:

Ajarhi Savimbi Roberts, of Winchester, Va., was indicted on two Class 4 felonies for forging coin and bank notes, two Class 6 felonies for forging bank notes greater than $10 and presenting them as true, and two unclassified felonies for obtaining money by a false pretense in an amount greater than $200. All three offenses occurred on April 9, 2018, according to online court records, with an arrest date listed of Aug. 22, 2020. Roberts is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 for a status hearing.

Steven Todd Monger, of Elkton, Va., was indicted on two unclassified felonies for grand larceny and grand theft auto. The grand larceny offense occurred on April 10, 2021, according to court records, while the vehicle was allegedly stolen on April 18, 2021. The arrest date listed for both offenses is April 27, 2021. Monger is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 for further proceedings.

Brittany Catherine Burker, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for possession of a Schedule I/II drug and a Class 6 felony for prisoner possession of an unlawful chemical. The first two offenses occurred on May 27, 2021, according to court records, with an arrest date of the same. The chemical possession and subsequent arrest both occurred on July 30, 2021. Burker is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021 for further proceedings.

Jonathan Scott Jenkins Sr. (a.k.a Jonathan Scott Jenkins), of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug and received two direct indictments on Class 1 misdemeanors for driving while his operator’s license was revoked or suspended. The drug offense and arrest occurred on April 16, 2021, according to court records, while the driving offenses occurred on May 1, 2021. On the drug offense, Jenkins is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 for further proceedings. For the two misdemeanors, a court date has been set for 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021.

Alexis Nicole Blosser, of Luray, Va., was indicted by the grand jury on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug and received a direct indictment for a Class 1 misdemeanor for driving while her license was revoked or suspended. The drug possession and arrest occurred on May 18, 2021, according to court records, while the driving offense occurred on April 20, 2021. Blosser is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 for further proceedings.

Charles Anthony Combs, of New Market, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and arrest occurred on March 9, 2021, according to court records. Combs is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 for further proceedings.

Carl Lewis Cubbage Jr., of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on October 9, 2020, according to court records, with an arrest date of Feb. 3, 2021. Cubbage is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for further proceedings.

Eric Michael Fletcher, of Front Royal, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and arrest occurred on March 23, 2021, according to court records. Information about further proceedings was not available in court records..

• Brittany Tara Good, (address not provided), was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and arrest occurred on June 18, 2021, according to court records. Good is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 for further proceedings.

Ricky Allen Housden, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on June 18, 2021, according to court records, with an arrest date of Aug. 5, 2021. Housden is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for further proceedings.

Douglas Allen McDaniel, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on June 23, 2020, according to court records, with an arrest date of Oct. 29, 2020. McDaniel is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22 for further proceedings.

• Derek Lee Williams, of Quicksburg, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and arrest occurred on July 16, 2021, according to court records. Williams is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for further proceedings.

• Tylissa Ann Weller, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and arrest occurred on April 8, 2021, according to court records. Weller is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20 for further proceedings.

CONTINUED CASE

Jessica Christine Jenkins, of Luray, was charged with two Class 5 felonies for possession of a Schedule I/II drug and possession of “gama-butyrolactonel”. The offenses and arrest occurred on Jan. 25, 2021, according to court records. The grand jury did not issue a true bill (indictment) on the charges during Wednesday’s session, but instead the case was continued. Jenkins is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 for further proceedings.

Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
