September grand jury issues 17 indictments against nine individuals

LURAY, Sept. 2— Members of a grand jury in Page County Circuit Court issued a true bill on a total of 17 indictments handed down Wednesday, Sept. 2 on charges placed against nine individuals.
Those individuals indicted by the Sept. 2 grand jury include:
• Cameron Wade Back, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for abduction by force or intimidation and a Class 6 felony for the assault and battery of a family member (third or subsequent offense). Both offenses and an arrest occurred on June 28, 2026, according to court records. Back is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026 for a hearing.
• William Eric McGinnis, of Luray, Va. was indicted on three Class 6 felonies for three counts of a registration violation as a Tier III sex offender. The offenses occurred on Feb. 28, April 4 and April 29 of 2026, according to court records, with an arrest on May 6, 2026. McGinnis is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026 for further proceedings.
• William Albert King, of Luray, Va. was indicted on an unclassified felony for possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug, a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for driving while under revocation or suspension of an operator’s license. All three offenses and an arrest occurred on Feb. 28, 2026, according to court records. King is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026 for a status hearing.
• Jennifer Diane Perez, of Stanley, Va. was indicted on two unclassified felonies for the distribution or sale for profit of a Schedule I/II drug and possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug. The first offense occurred on Oct. 9, 2025 with an arrest on Nov. 11, 2025, according to court records, while the second offense occurred on Oct. 16, 2025 with an arrest on Oct. 17, 2025. Perez is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026 for a status hearing.
• David Eugene Armentrout, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug and a Class 6 felony for possession of a gun while in possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Both offenses occurred on April 25, 2026, according to court records, with an arrest on April 26, 2026. Armentrout is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026 for a status hearing.
• Carmen Lynn Cubbage, of Luray, Va., was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The first offense occurred on Nov. 11, 2025 with an arrest on Dec. 19, 2025, according to court records, while the second offense and an arrest occurred on June 1, 2026. Cubbage is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026 to enter a plea.
• Mary Rebecca Fletcher, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Feb. 23, 2026, according to court records. Fletcher is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026 for a hearing.
• Patrick Kelly Grey Parlett, a.k.a. Patrick Gray Parlett, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Dec. 19, 2025, according to court records, with an arrest on May 4, 2026. Parlett is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026 to enter a plea.
• Jeramey Scott Mullins, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on May 21, 2026, according to court records. Mullins is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026 for a hearing.
Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
